As recognition of its forceful drive to excellence, WAFFLE TIME has been awarded the prestigious 2009 Franchise Excellence Award as OUTSTANDING FILIPINO FRANCHISE OF THE YEAR (food category: kiosk). The award is one of the seven categories of the most coveted Franchise Excellence Award. The Franchise Excellence Award, given by Philippine Franchise Association, (PFA) together with the Department of Trade and Industry, is the prominent annual recognition to franchise companies which have revealed excellence and strong business growth, franchise program, and ethical reputation. Waffle Time’s Vice President, Grace Barañao took pride in receiving the award during the successful 10th Franchise Excellence Awards at the Crowne Plaza Galleria, Ortigas Center, Pasig City last July 1, 2009. It was also during the said event that Mr. Joseph Sing Chua Kao, a Waffle Time franchisee from General Santos City, was honored by PFA as the Franchisee of the Year.
Apart from this recent recognition, Waffle Time has also been consistently receiving awards, without fail, from Entrepreneur Philippines’ Philippine Franchise Awards, recognized as the Most Promising Franchise (2006-2009); Fastest Growing Franchise (2007-2009); and Best in Franchising Support (2008).
Waffle Time, Inc. joins the “Mascot Parade” held last April 16, 2007 at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. Children of all ages came to touch & cuddle the company mascot named “Waffle”.
